We don't have a bbq.  Our summer meals are often done on my Forman grill.  We often have grilled cheese or hot dogs.  We have pasta more often and potatoes less because you don't have to cook them as long.  In fact I think that I'm going to replace potatoes with salads more often this summer.  Whatever gets cooked, the kitchen is to be avoided for some time afterward.

 I do the Chicken thing at least once a week. I also buy ready made salads, and eat lots of fruit.

Actually I eat a lot of salad in the hot days - last week, what with the arrival of Ontario strawberries, I made up a very nice strawberry salad with cucumbers and lemon poppy seed dressing - the President Choice one is quite nice.

Last weekend did a nice steak salad with an incredible homemade dressing plus a roasted red pepper soup which was very yummy - wasn't so hot last weekend.

A nice quick potato salad - if you roast your potatoes the night before (I have a nice recipe that uses garlic and capers that really work great for this), toss them in blue cheese salad dressing.  Delicious.

And when it gets really hot, watermelon.  Just watermelon.
