One halloween I was Frosty the Snowman. The costume, when squished down by my winter coat (it is Winnipeg, after all) looked like a white dress. I liked it! (Not that I liked that it looked like a dress, but I liked the costume without the coat.)
Thank God my mom didn't see this video back then! I would've had to wear a soldier costume. Ew!

Hahaha... Then there was the year I was a male angel. I was 17 at the time, so it was completely of my own making and my own decision.
