We're Coming Together

Christchurch, NZ -- AP Reuters Frooty-Tootie Dork Sith.

The Kiwi nation was blessed with a caress from Mother Nature at 0435, bringing both Whites and Maori together in a red sticky mess.

"Our plan is almost coming to fruition," said a local member of HAARP, "with this earthquake, Tesla's theories are vindicated, yet again."

"Down with the NWO!  This even, topping 7.0 on the Richter scale," said Thomasina Finch, of Greenpeace, "is a vast corporate plot.  If Nature were only allowed free reign, these events wouldn't happen."

Archibishop Cardinal Fang had this to say, "We all could wish to be so lucky as those who have gone before us."

Following the local hoots and hollers, Wondercafe scion MikePaterson was found surfing up a storm.  "This is what life is all about.  Experience!"

Some members of OPEC and BP were seen skulking around, making menacing gestures.

Donations of blood can be made at your local blood bank.  Donations of time can be made by logging in.

"I am shocked by this tragedy," says your reporter, "what do you, the reader, think of this latest Kiwi earthquake?"

What do I think of the earthquake? Terrible. I hadn't heard anything about HAARP being involved yet though. I suppose I better have a look!

I found it noteworthy that NZ can have such a huge earthquake and have no one die, where in poor parts of the world this same 7.something earthquake would cause masses of death and suffering. It doesn't seem fair does it. And the way it was presented too, my thoughts were that it was presented as a clean sort of bit of news, in a shocking that it shoudl happen to some of us white folks! sort of way. I'm of cource glad no one was killed though.

One day...it'll be BC.

Does NZ have a strong building code that forces new construction to incorporate building methods that protect the building during an earthquake?  I seem to recall that this is the case in California and BC - but I could be mistaken.
