Oh, fun. I find I'm always having fun in a group of 5 or more people.

with the kids: swinging (on the swing set at the park to make things very clear), playing in the yard, fishing, the park, snowmobiling.
by myself: swinging, organizing (sad, i know), gardening, baking, reading a magazine.
with friends: board games.
with the hubbie: a night out for oysters and spicy caesars.

cards & board games with friends, and sometimes even my sweetie & I will play some cards or yahtzee just for grins
pool (as in billiards) with wimps rules, of course
walking outside - I hate it until I'm doing it and then I love it
swimming in the lake
road trips
Going to Chapters, getting a *** from Starbucks, and browsing (we make it a date - kind of solitary, but we get some quiet away from the kids and we can share what we've been looking up)
snowmobiling is fun too, though I don't get much opportunity
CANOEING- that is my favourite
cooking for friends
breakfast at a greasy spoon with good homefries and properly cooked eggs
exploring all the touristy spots we normally avoid - a whole new world

That's awesome guys!
Birthstone, I love doing tacky tourist stuff and love greasy spoon breakfasts!!
Freundly-Giant, yes it can't help but be fun with 5 or more! But are YOU the life of the party??
Momsfruitcake, nothing beats swinging, what is your winter substitute??
BethanyK, I love that you sing!! That is what we do too!! I used to babysit and bring my girls and the young boy said to me "does she always do that?" and I said "do what?" and he said "sing"...I said "oh, ya!" I realized that when she is not singing that something is bothering her or she isn't feeling well!

Yup sounds like me, if I'm not singing or I'm singing a lot of sad songs for a long time there's usually a reason for it.

Boogieboarding with my son is the ultimate bestest greatest fun. It's hard to get everything right because if it is high tide we have to go to one beach because the other has rocks but if the tide is low we have to go to the other beach because the first one doesn't have waves at low tide. Then there is the weather and I don't like to go if there are no lifeguards, so we only get between 3 and 5 times a year.

winter substitute?!?! that's just not necessary *lol* we just got back in from enjoying a beautiful warm and sunny day of swinging with the kids in the yard! we built a snowman, made some snow angels, had a snowball fight and caught up on some shovelling too!

Alone: spending time on WonderCafe, going for a walk, reading a magazine, playing piano or flute, shopping, going for a drive.
With friends: going for tea and a chat, going out for dinner, going to the pub, singing, playing a board game, shopping, watching a movie, trying a new recipe together, seeing a play or opera.

Rollercoasters! That other thing that goes every which direction with loud music playing! The Rock n' Roll Express! Yes, I like amusement parks. Best of cource with two or three friends. Swinging is fun. We'll be putting a swing up on our property. Driving to new places, going to the airport, taking plane trips, eating Nanaimo bars, shopping at Value Village, seeing old friends for a good old laugh and catch up.

Alone: Video Games, Knitting, watching movies, building snow forts, being on WonderCafé, texting, sitting by the fire, praying, reading, painting, thinking, playing with lego :P, having a nice warm shower, eating.
With a friend: Video games, watching movies, hinking and discussion, playing with lego, walking around, eating, just general hanging out.
With a group (including me) of 3-5: Cruising in someone's car, chatting, eating, playing video games, watching a movie, hanging out.
With a group (including me) of 6+: playing party games, chatting, cruising (in multipul vehicles), eating, watching a movie.
These things are all multi-seasonal (minus snow forts). They have to be where I come from :P
Although some of the things may change during the seasons, for example, snow fort could change to tree fort?
Another favorite passtime for me and a friend is to think up the ultimate defensible house. Defensible against everything...Criminals, the government, terrorists, vampires, zombies, dinosaurs, pirates, nazis, nazi zombie pirates riding dinosaurs, werewolves, ruskies :P You name it lol.

This is a weird one but I love getting lost. I haven't done it in a very long time because of family obligations or the price of gas or whatever, but I just love to go for a drive, taking random turns until I really have no clue where I am and then try to get home without going on a highway or turning around. It is probably a little easier in NS where there are fewer roads than in flatter places but I have been pretty lost. One time I drove out for about an hour and it took me over three to get home. Another time I didn't know it but I was within a few blocks of where a friend of mine had moved out of town and I didn't know it until I went there on purpose a week later.

Bethanyk - you are sooo lucky to be close enough to Wonderland to have a seasons pass. That must be awesome!!!
I like canoeing at the cottage and watching for loons. When the boys were small we got a large canoe so they could sit in the middle. Now we find it large and heavy to lift lol, but maybe we will have grandkids whe will enjoy it. Just sitting by the water and reading a good book is very relaxing or watching the kids play in the water. Card games at the cottage in the evening are always fun.
I also love Sunday dinner when the kids are here and we cook something special and get caught up on the past week.
And of course I love being with my poms - walking, playing, swimming or just being together. They make me smile every day!

I totally LOVE roller coasters too!!
Thanks to everyone who commented! It's good to see you are all smart enough to not be bored! I tell my girls if they ever say 'I'm bored' I tell them they are smart enough to find something creative to do!! You peeps are a great example!

They get a better answer than I did when I told my mom I was bored...she always came up with a chore I could do lol.
I also completley forgot to say I love to pull out my bagpipe music (which I forgot at home last time ) and dance. I also play cribbage online (www.pogo.com) alot along with a bunch of other random games.

BethanyK, you changed your icon! Sweet about the bagpipes! Do you wear a kilt too?? I also enjoy dancing! My fave is putting on the Latin band 'Salvador' and grabbing a kid and shaking our booty!! ...good times...

I wear my kilt for shows and compititions (well did when I was in them) but it's too hot to put on normally.
And my pic/avatar/icon is now my puppy dog (though she's 8 lol)
