Hello all,

as already mentioned on one of Crazy hearts threads

Who" in for Xmas gift exchange?

Can anyone spare the time to Organize It?

I'm too swamped right now-but I've really enjoyed getting and sending gifts the last 2 years.

For those new -or newish to wc we sent a wondermail with our real address (or church address-if you wanted to be more private) to the organizer. In return we got someone's address and mailed them a gift. A gift arrived for us!

Lots of fun!

So who can organize?

Im in!! Depending on the next couple of weeks, I might be able to organize.It is the funnest thing at Christmas.

Ah CH I did have fun sending you a gift last year.

And, Tab, I meant to tell you that in July I used the puppets and the Christmas story. The few kids (2) loved them and then I gave them all the fixings to make puppets over the summer when it was raining.

I'm in. I remember the people I sent gifts to since the beginning of the gift exchange, what I gave them, etc. And I remember the wonderful people who took the time and care to send me gifts. Its one of the things I really enjoy and look forward to at Christmas.

heck, i can organize it...

just to toot my own horn here for a moment, i was the one who started this festive event here, after participating in a christmas exchange on a star wars board i used to post at for many years...

let me know, and i'm in!!

I am willing to organize a virtual exchange once again if anyone is interested.

Will post a separate thread about this - - maybe early in December. The virtual exchange doesn't require quite as much lead time.

Glad to hear that you are interested in doing it again, Hilary.

I had fun preparing my virtual gift. I followed my gift recipient around the cafe for a bit - - reading his profile and some of his posts to learn a bit about him. Then I knit him a virtual stocking and filled it with some goodies I thought he would like.
