And Sunday Begat Monday ... And So On ... - September 15 sermonPosted on: 09/15/2013 12:23
Now about your love for one another we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other. And in fact, you do love all of God’s family throughout Macedonia. Yet we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more, and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody. (1 Thessalonians 4:9-12)

Let's work towards peacefol solution in SyriaPosted on: 09/09/2013 06:23Imagine for a moment, our safe, quiet communities in Grey and Bruce counties have been transported half way around the world and dropped right into the Middle East. And just for the sake of conversation, let’s say we are now in Syria. Our cities are not safe or quiet any more, but torn by an internal civil war. Families have lost relatives when the government or somebody used chemical weapons on innocent civilians. The dead are buried, but the pain lives on. |

Hospice reminds us death is a part of life cyclePosted on: 09/03/2013 07:02When the new residential hospice opened at Seasons retirement community, I knew that in time I would be visiting there. People whom I was visiting at home or in hospital would be transferred there for the best palliative care possible. I was right. I am visiting people in the residential hospice now. |
