The JGER Unit is the unit I work for at the UCC Head Office. It stands for Justice, Global and Ecumenical Relations. Thanks for asking - I should have had that in the main text.
Acronyms rule here. You wouldn't believe the learning curve I had my first couple weeks. Heck, I'm still learning them all.

And wouldn't you know martha, now that you've got it, they're about to change it! We will soon be (if we're not already) called "Partners in Mission".
