In my opinion I believe that piercings and tattoos are a very beautiful art form, as long as it is done in proper moderation to whom ever it is on. But many Highschools are opposed to having the students have visable 'body art', how can this be in any way be right?
The fallacy that we all abide by one paradigm (or at least that we should) has led many Christians, both those of the conservative typology as well of the “floundering liberal” (Falwell’s words, not mine), to believe that non-believers have no ultimate purpose or meaning in life.

Those who have spent time “in the rooms” may be excruciatingly familiar with the torment of addiction. For individuals who have finally stepped into circle, the party is long over. They know about jails, institutions, and death. They know about the mind games drugs can play, the struggles, the health problems, the insurmountable debt, and the toll in their personal relationships. They know persecution from work, family, and society. They know how hard it is to change a losing game- keep coming back, the circle members chirp. And we do.

As a writer who always works on a computer, I love to take weekend studio tours to savour the shapes and colors of artists’ work. It’s a great visual antidote to my grey world of Word documents, and I always return feeling refreshed and ready to write again.

I went to a United Church in Ontario that had a mural of Revelations Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse. It depicted things in it that were very disturbing such as an infant being held upside down by a demoic creature who was holding a sword. The worse thing about this mural is it was right outside the nursery! The person who did the painting says she was inspired to do this particular mural after attending a Billy Graham crusade entitled Approching Hoof Beats or something along those lines.
