Personally, I never did believe that these so-called "protesters" were the real deal, and suspected that this was a staged travesty. Read the part about how they didn't need a permit to protest like everyone else. Is Harper even allowed to do this? Does he think Canadians are stoooopid?
And why it hasn't it been covered by the rest of the media??? The cbc hasn't touched this story yet. Wonder if it will?

Its not the first time Harper has done this, it is only the first time that the press is reporting.
traditional media has ignored behaviour this. i could tell you stories, that i have heard thatnwould make you cry, Luckly non Ottawa press corps types are Not as cyncial and are breaking these storoes. Witness the Barrie newspaper who told of an attempt to manipulate public opinion with a "anonymous leak" from the PMO.
It all just sorts the kind of comtempt that harper has for Canadians and democratic rules. th NP article says this kind of behavioir is childish, but what it does nor say, is that by not doing it with PMO staff instead of tory staff they are attacking the tradional Canadian system, where the PMO was seen as being almost like the civil service. True they always represented the political issues, arising, but never until Harper was it used to manipulate and decieve Canadians.

I have faith in Harper. I'm sure he's gone much lower than this.

George Orwell's 110th birthday was last Tuesday, so someone threw a party to mark the occasion by putting party hats on surveillance cameras...

Appropo. This week the cbc has radically changed their message boards. They have seriously gotten into the data-mining business to raise some money. The effect has been dramatic. People leaving in droves. I expect all that data is being funnelled into the CIMS database too. I also expect there was never a choice.

"Incentivize"? Seriously?
