I don't know if I am going to do it, but I think it's a great idea. I hope it catches on and grows.

I'm going to do it, shouldn't be too hard, I work outdoors and live in a bush! When the black out happened ppl remembered they could have fun and rewarding times without electricity whatsoever. Wouldn't it be nice if ppl did that more often?

It is too bad that Earth Hour was not publicized until recently. What a great concept...What a way to demonstrate to ourselves how wasteful we are!

I wish I would have known about it! I would definately have turned my lights out. It is not too late, I will discuss this with my family & see what they think of picking one night every month to do so. Good time to sit around a candle (no tv, music anything!) and discuss ways we can do our part to reduce, re-use, recycle & save mother earth! I think it may turn into a great "family talk night".

It was a wonderful experiance.
Taking time out to reflect on mother earth, making a difference.
I'm willing to continue reducing hydro use, an hour a week in all households would make a huge difference.
Seeing the photo of Toronto during a usual night, reflected on Lake Ontario and then the reflection last Saturday was amazing and beautiful.
