My friend who's from China said that Canada has sent nothing to China. He also said that we're the only developed nation to send nothing.

So yeah, we aren't doing enough.

How do you know that your friend is privvy to everything that goes on in that government of theirs? They Chinese government might be hoarding supplies like the burmese government, or they might be distributing it elsewhere without telling people it's aid, so It looks like the chinese government is doing it themselves, a good publicity stunt when you have to please 1.3 billion people no?

Just a thought.

Another thought: They are their own country....why are we helping them? They are perfectly capable to doing it themselves...

That doesn't mean that we shouldn't help. It will take China decades to recover from this. My friend DOES keep up to date with news in China. He uses the internet for that. However, he told me that it was his friends who live in China that told him that Canada has sent no aid. And since we are the only developed country to not send aid, that it pretty bad.

oh and lets help america too, india, central america, africa, australia the germans. send more money please, while canadians cant afford hydro and food or shelter.. lets help every country in the world that needs it.. lol... hahahahahaha. and if we get wumped with a big natural disaster how can the countries we have helped, help us.. lol... good idea this government hahahahahaha. Perhaps if countries werent so oil and gas dependant and had really cheap alternative fuels going on then there would be billions of extra dollars... oh well.. the heathens are part of the christian natural selection lol. I say let them die if they have made peace with the lord and are saved, this world shouldnt matter anyway. Of course if we werent polluting our planet so much maybe we wouldnt have such natural disasters. lol... its stupid here, i want off, hahahaha
