Yes, but the strike was rotating so that mail was still being delivered. The Corporation decided that wasn't appropriate for some reason

The strike/lockout didn't't affect my mail personally although it did affect me in the fact that my hours at the post office were cut back, just in time for me to have to scramble for another $150.00 for rent. the labour disruption definitely affected charities, one line business' and financial institutions. I was able to receive mail yesterday and Western financial came in with over 200 letters and they have the same amount to bring in today because they rely on the postal service.
