I took most as the clue - and it was close for bunnies and 4 days off-I chose the 4 days off because I have a high opinion of people and they would not be sucked by the bunnies - personally It is the resurrection and as a christian i get double - 4 days off and the resurrection - of course I really don't 4 days off because I lose the whole weekend in worship - but it is worth it. And family gatherings - it is like christmas - too tired to have a gathering - will do it later.

I think the question would be more useful if it asked what the respondent celebrated. Here we are asked to evaluate the people around us and their motivations.

I would have voted for a 4 day weekend but in NS Easter monday is not a statutory holiday or even one of those holidays that are not stat but most people get off anyway. So, it is only a 3 day weekend for me. Only government workers get it off.

But anyone working on Monday will be wishing they were having a 4 day weekend like those ..... city workers. And it will be a quiet workday. This week has been quiet downtown with spring break; in Vancouver I really wouldn't say the majority think Easter is about the resurrection story since so many new Canadians come here with their own religious backgrounds. Myself, I like bunnies, spring, and chocolate, too.

I wish I could say Ilike how spring is coming, and there is fresh new life all around... but we are still having stupid freaking winter in Winterpeg!
