Yes as this helps with eye hand thinking motivation  movements as a child. To me it helps with the develpment of a child

Now see, there are some games out there that expose young kids (I am talking 3-7) to stuff like gore, killing, violence, and alternate realities were certant things dont have penalties. NOW not saying EVERY kid will suddenly see these things as right, as I know I was mature around those ages enough to realize "This is a game, I am playing it for enjoyment." but some kids at younger ages have taken life lessons from games, some of which would be considered negative on them...Really though it all comes down to the kid, not everyone is the same, some of us have a head on straighter, some of us are less of a sponge, some of us are monkey see monkey do.
