THE question quotes Mardi as saying "one of the" and the only option for yes says "the ethical challenge". Different things. I gave that answer since it is closest to what I wanted to say. But I don't think it is the only issue we have to address. Not that others are more important or less important, just that there are equally pressing issues (like justice for all, like food and water for all) that need to be addressed -- and interestingly they all interrelate in the end.

Actually eco-theological issues are about right and wrong IMO.
