I have never ever not voted in any election for which I was qualified. I remember two occasions when I spoiled my ballot because there there were none there worth an 'X'

Why wouldn't you vote?! I am 14, but when I'm 18, expect me to be the first in line at the poll booths. I think it is important for North Americans to voice an opinion on who you want as your leader (even though all of them are crooked!)

I would if I could. I am 13 but come that 18th birthday, I am going to vote first federal election that comes around. I only put no on the poll because I am underage. Perhaps I can con my way into the voting booths...
I hope they do not raise the age one needs to be to vote! That would suck!

I think that they should lower the age to 16. I mean you can work and pay taxes, why shouldn't you have a say in how those taxes are spent?
I too, have spoiled ballots. Wouldn't it be funny if all the people who normally don't vote went to the polls and spoiled their ballots? Now that would be a message.

I agree with you, I think that 16 would be the more logical age for voting, but then again, when has the government ever been logical! I highly doubt they will rise it! That would cause stir, thats for sure!

I voted today.
(I'll be out of the country for both the election and the advance polls, so I had to go and do a special ballot this morning.)

I hate that the voting age isn't 16. In grade 10, Ontario Students are required to take a civics/career studies course (and the credit is required to graduate) so it's not like we're ignorant about the government.
I just registered to vote today so on the 14th, I'll be voting on campus.

Well, all you *lucky* people get to voice your opinion, yet I, a sweet 14 year old cant say a damn word about it! But, at the same breath, whoever gets in, I can complain, because I didnt vote for them, BAHAHA! The right to complain is WAY better than the right to vote! Sorry about the capital letters, heehee...
