Watching the news and pictures of the devastation in Missouri and other states as a result of last evening's many powerful tornadoes.  Death toll is now over a hundred with dozens missing and injured.  Also watching as heart-broken residents return to Slave Lake to burned-out homes and thought it might be good to start a thread where we can offer our prayers, thoughts and spiritual energy.

There is some strange parallels between climate change and Jesus.

If one goes up to a 'normal' secular human in our society, and starts talking about Jesus, they wonder what planet you're from.  Their life is going fine.  It's under control.  The mortgage just got paid off, the promotion at work just happened, and retirement is only five years off.  Life is good and under control.  What on earth are you talking about Jesus for?

Wondercafe is pretty good at generating a lot of ideas in a hurry.  So let's just pretend for a moment that global warming is a hoax.  What private investments would you pursue?  Where would public investment money best be spent?
