I must be getting old, but, that loud party next door at Serena's, well, I just can't keep up.
i have wandered back to the pad, to put my feet up, and sit quietly listening to music, and sharing story.
People are dropping off booz and snacks all day. Oh my fridge looks tempting. I never got groceries for three weeks so it is bare and now all filled with booz. I have vodka, vodka coolers, Bailey's, Crown Royal, Rum, tequilla, shooters, and 2 different kinds of wine.
I am cleaning out the spare bedrooms and I have time but I cannot believe I am drinking coffee with all the this booz in the house!!!!
I am afraid though if I open up a bottle that will be the end of my cleaning.....
So, what are people doing tomorrow night to mark the end of poor old 2010? Partying? Quietly reflecting? Having fun with family? Ignoring the whole dang thing?
We're just doing our usual: buy some interesting seafood and do our own seafood buffet, then watch the Air Farce (who are reuniting for New Years' Eve again this year).
Probably hit the sack well before midnight, but we'll see. If I'm up late, I'll pop by here and see if there's a Wonderparty going on.
