At your annual meeting, does the budget list the salaries of all staff separately or are they all lumped together as on figure?
Do you think it should be shown or not? Is it the business of the congregation?
Anyone else in ministry notice a cut in net pay? I'm awaiting my pay statement to confirm, but my net income went down $166 this month or $2,000 this year. Ouch. And I suspect that most of it was the pension increase.
Two people team in ministry. Both get paid according to UCCAN pay schedule. Both get housing allowance. The 1/2 time designated minister gets 1/2 the Housing allowance allotment of the ordained person. e.g. ordained 1000.00 ;1/2 time 500.00.
The M&P ctte. decides to give the ordained person a raise in salary above scale. If they are teaming, should the 1/2 associate not get 1/2 the ammount of the raise?
Fair, no?
