Honouring Other Faith Traditions.

Let's have a discussion about this. It stem's from Pinga and Northwind (in another thread) commenting that if you are in another faith church, temple or mosque, we re the guests and should honour their traditions. e.g communion.

It also brings to mind, First Nations Traditions ( smudging etc. with out an Elder present.)

What are your thoughts?

respect for other traditions.

Is it respectful of other faith communities to hold sweats and smudgings that traditionally belong to First Nations and other cultures.

Is it against the law to pick sweetgrass and deplete this herb that is used in smudgings?

Is it disrespectful to hold a smudging without an elder present?

Do you have an opinion?
