Sigh, an end of era

For those of you who were never sucked into the Vegas crime scene this will have little resonance.

Gil Grissom aka William Petersen has been standing over corpses spouting quips and displaying an eccentric affection for bugs since October 6 2000.

I remember the first time I watched Grissom, I thought "my goodness what a plank of wood, he's as stiff as the dead body" but over the years he grew on me and I will miss him.
