Recognition of First Nations Traditional Territory

When reviewing a proposal which is headed to General Council, it dawned on me.....I wonder how many people know what land they live on?

Most of the folks in my area, live on Mohawk or Six Nation land (at least, that is my understanding)

So, what land do you live on?

As goes the US, so goes the World?

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.  .....  for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.     Joseph Goebbels

Prop 8- confusion?!

I am a Canadian so i didn't get to vote in this past american election. I am very disappointed in the ban of same sex marriages. I believe in God and I have faith but doesn't the bible teach us to love each other and to be non judgemental. I think that as human beings we should all have the same rights. I watch the arguments from both sides on tv and it just pisses me off. For the yes people, their biggest arguement is that the word "marriage" is defined as a  sacred bond between a man and a woman.  Says who?! The Bible..when did the bible become the constitution?

Workfare = Slavery: Wayne Coppin Vs the Gov. of Ontario's OW Act & Participation Agreement!

Workfare is Slavery.  And as a Christian, I am opposed to slavery.  Aren't we all?

On November 5, 2008 (V.for Vendetta readers and viewers will chuckle at the irony) Wayne Coppin goes to his Social Benefits Tribunal hearing to fight for your human rights at the Kingston Holiday Inn.  For more information, on the case, please google "workfare""human rights" or "Quixote's Horse".
