Well, I thought that before I went to bed I would post some pics I took of Kafka, my new pet. BUT I am really sleepy and it's getting late so I'll just give you all a link to another forum I spend alot of time at. (I use the same user name here and there so you'll know what posts are mine )

So, what pets have you had, or do you consider having ?

Is there any pet you might not want to have?

My neighborhood is full of people who drive Priuses to haul their Labrador Retrievers to the park for a run. According to two New Zealand researchers, the beloved pet they are hauling has twice the carbon footprint of a Toyota Land Cruiser. The three cats at home? Each of them mucks up the environment about as much as a compact car.

This seems odd to us, our kitten fetches. 

We have a springer that is constantly chasing balls, and carrying things around.

A few weeks ago, I noticed the cat would take its small catnip ball up the stairs, and then drop it on the wood runner, let it go flying down the stairs, chase it, go back up the stairs & repeat.  It takes the time to ensure she gets it right on the runner..ie, works at it.

Then, we noticed if we threw the ball, she would chase it, and sometimes, bring it back.
