Wilmar Court wins Energy Conservation Award at the Green Toronto Awards

Wilmar Court Goes Solar: On April 23, Wilmar Court, a seniors apartment building developed by the former Wilmar Heights United Church congregation in Scarborough, had the official launch of their rooftop solar panels. That same night, Wilmar Court received the Energy Conservation award at the Green Toronto Awards presentation.

Wondie Awards 2009!

It's that time of year again- the stars, the glamour and the awards! It's been a great year here at WonderCafe, with plenty of fun, learning and surprises, and with the award season now upon us, it only makes sense that we recognize the best and brightest here on the site.
 
Started last year, the Wondies celebrate the users who make WC what it is. This year we're doing it all again, but in a much shorter period of time! Just like last year, there are three parts: first, we need to decide what categories to issue awards for.
