One of the great leaders of the United Church of Canada has passed on to be with God. If you grew up in the United Church in the 1960's, you were exposed to the New Curriculum. Peter Gordon White was one of the leaders in the development of the material and authored several of the volumes. Started in the 1950's, it had a huge impact on the direction and theology of the United Church of Canada. Peter was often a guest in our home, as my father was involved in the writing and training for the New Curriculum. His peers would have been David Forsyth, Alvin Cooper, Frank Fidler and Wilbur K.

I was wondering if anyone else on this forum is a Sunday School teacher??? I was thinking that this would be a great place to network - to share ideas, successful lessons - and failures too!
