A friend of mine sent me this:

He's a bit too 'close' to the current government, and his livelyhood depends on their goodwill; he did want to share it on WonderCafe.
So: for your perusal and discussion, folks.
I am involved with an organization that attempts to help people who have life problems ie drug, alcohol addictions, homelessness etc
We encourage those who have had some success in changing their lives to return and help out with those just starting out.
The problem we are encountering is that some individuals are taking advantage of the new people seeking help, ie sexually finnacially emotionally.
Here is the fictional dilemma
You live in a very small house. It is the middle of a Canadian Winter - cold and snowing. You have three children - ages 7,9, and 12.
On pay day, your TV conks out and an hour later your washer and dryer quit ( They are 15 years old)
You have enough money to buy one thing this payday and two weeks from now you have enough money to buy the rest.
You have very caring neighbours and friends living on your block.
