Youth Forum Flash Mob in Granby Quebec

This little clip was taken at the Quebec Sherbrooke Presbytery Youth Forum last weekend. Our theme was Green and we did lots of awesome things over the weekend, including a flash mob on a corner in Granby, Quebec where everyone mimed planting trees! It was great to do some awesome theatrical action and inspire more young people to care about the earth and live with respect in creation.

Room Temperature?

We've been making a real effort around here to reduce our energy consumption.  That includes making improvements to our house, but also taking actions on a day to day basis.  Turning off the lights, putting things on power bars (to reduce phantom load), using cold water in the washing machine, AND turning down the house temperature.   We've got a programable thermostat, and it's normally set for 16 C when we're out or asleep, and 17 C when we're here.  We wear a lot of sweaters.
