I've seen some confusing reporting on the new guidelines for HIV testing in BC.
The worst was a news anchor who said that now people ages 18-70 can be tested every 5 years.
I'm assuming they could be tested at least that often in the past right? It just wasn't recommendation for the general population?
It was the first I heard of the change, so then headlines like this which I normally wouldn't question seem to stand out now too:
