I back from a day in Toronto.  I was at St. John's York MIlls Anglican Church for a one day conference on Natural Church Development's two new resources, The 3 Colours of Leadership and The 3 Colours of Community.

Christian A Schwarz was our theme speaker and it was a pleasure for me, having immersed myself in Natural Church Development since my ordination in 1998 to get a chance to spend some time listening to the author of most of the resources I devour.

Over in Cate's thread asking, "Who will save the United Church?" I mentioned the Institute for Natural Church Development (NCD) and a diagnostic tool that they had developed to measure 8 quality characteristics that are present in every church.

Obviously, the degree to which these characteristics is present influences the overal health of the congregation.

Was just checking my hotmail account (not my primary e-mail) and noticed a new update from NCD (The Institute for Natural Church Development.

They are currently putting together a new resource that will assess spirituality styles.

The survey is 126 questions in length and provides results for 9 different categories.  NCD claims that the survey can be completed in about 15-20 minutes.  I clocked in at a little over 8.
