As I recall it most people attended church, pretty much every Sunday, when I was going to school in the 1950s. Children went with their parents and were supposed to learn to revere God who was some sort of an old man father figure in the sky.

We still have quite a few large churches here in Regina. But God seems to have lost his potence and there is  not much interest in what is going on at church.

This makes me wonder what is going on and what is replacing the churches.
