The city here has started making public lists of people with outstanding warrants. There was a warning about this, but already a mistake has been made. A teenager (under 18) had their name published in newspapers. The offenses can be serious, or minor (snow removal, bylaw tickets). I'm not sure how many are publized, there are only 2 currently on the website (with pictures).
Is this a good way to deal with outstanding warrants (16000 according to their site)?
I am mainly posting this for fun, but it's a good reminder for those of you with teens to set and review online rules and for people of any age to maybe think twice before including any personal information if you're making a public facebook event.
