I know we have discussed this before but there are some new folk here. Do you serve alcohol in your church hall for weddings, anniversaries or suppers?
I know some that do and are under the same provincial laws as any hall. They must have a permit and provide security. Some only decide to have wine or beer. Others have hard liquor.
Would hate to see headlines on Monday Morning - Car Crash after Bash at United Church on Saturday Night.
What do you think?
Currently, in Alberta, there is discussion of making the drinking and driving laws more strict. I'm not against it, but I think there are other things that could be done to reduce drinking and driving.
SOBER DAY: 15
Reasons for being sober:
-My son and lover
-My health
-My family and friends
Greetings, my name is Kim Beaulieu and this is my blog about my battles with addiction.
I have been an alcoholic my entire life I believe.
From my first drink I started blacking out, waking up not remembering going to bed at first, then larger gaps started to occur, such as an entire evening. I was 14.
