I was watching animal planet and started what my favourite animal was (something i hadn't thought about since i was like ten). I like all animals but like other people some have more of an aesthetic appeal to me more than others. My dads favourite animal was the wolf (he had a wolf painting on the wall and quite a few tatoos). So let's all post our favourite animal and why (is it looks? feel? sound? etc.)
I'll go first.
My favourite animal is the snake (all of'em, not just a single family)
As we know, human beings are in fact animals. We are of nature and we are nature. We are as much nature as plants and other animals. What is it that makes us different from other animals then?
It is our advanced minds that seperate us from nature (or vainly attempt to). Nature, from which humans attempt to diverge from is OUR true nature as humans. Our true nature is essentially Jesus Christ, it is Buddha nature.
I was at work the other night talkin to two of my coworker/friends and I'm not sure how, but the topic of animals going to heaven came up. It was a pretty heated debate on the yesses and nos and reasons why. I came to my own conclusions about it but i'm pretty sure i'll change my mind about this one.
Its not something that gets talked about after you've passed the age of seven. All Dogs Go To Heaven was a pretty convincing movie, of course. But now i want to know what you think, oh wondercafe writers!
Check out BBC Breathing Places - Do One Thing
This is a stunning and thoughtful video featuring Native American speaker, Oren Lyons. Its set to beautiful music and gorgeous natural world video. Enjoy!!
