I've heard there are quite a few seniors upset over changes to this year's tax returns. I understand some of the concerns, but is some of it just being resistent to change?

I've never given thought to this because I've never owed taxes, but as someone who is less than impressed with the governments stance on Militarism, I thought that this was both funny and powerful. What do people think?
MY LETTER TO THE IRS BY SHANE CLAIBORNE
I was helping a friend of mine do his taxes this evening and I am steaming mad!!!! This man makes less than the low income cut off (poverty line) and after already having paid over $2300 in taxes over the year, he owes $76. Is that insane or am I insane for thinking it is?
To be honest I hate April - I shouldn't April should be a wonderful fun month full of promise and rebirth - but I always spend the first half plodding away, fingers clicking rapidly, entering figures and calculations, all for the benefit of group of yahoos in Ottawa who take my blood, sweat and tears and turn it into guns and pork.
Now, the prgamatic among you will say - well, why not keep up every month - which is a valid question and my response is - why should I make every month depressing!
As I was looking through the flyers and doing my grocery shopping today, it dawned on me that I could buy 6 litres of pop for the less than I could buy 2 litres of milk. (I know the costs of milk vary across the country so that might not be the case where you live).
