Have you ever been north of the Number 7 highway anywhere in eastern Ontario? Its God's country up there, and the residents are a little more reverent, more plain spoken and generally more down to Earth ... Yes I'm stereotyping, but if you've ever been to Havelock or Marmora or Madoc you know what I mean.

I went on-line to see if I could find a Baptsit group comparable to Wondercafe.

Now Baptistlife.com is not as wonderful as w/c in the sections etc. or variety of topics, or number of women posters but what blew me aware was the attitudes.

One guy said "ever since I got kicked off that another chat group" for being pro-gay"

These are the "liberal" Baptists-their term and it sounds like they are truly lovely people.

I'm suprised and humbled.
