Reading about Davids life is like watching a soap opera. He made mistakes. Many mistakes but yet was called a man after Gods own heart.
I have been reading the psalms lately. It seems unthinkable that Saul would be so jealous of David that he was trying to have him killed. A prince of Egypt sleeping in caves like a homeless person.
So here are some more unanswerable questions:
1. Why didn't God put David on the throne and protect him from Saul right away?
2. Why didn't God forgive Saul from seeking advice from his dead mentor Samuel.
Do you think they were lovers.?
1 samuel 18 Is this the passage that is referred to. "Jonathan loved him as his own soul" or is their more of a story somewhere?
