Why do you suppose that Jesus picked these particular people to be disciples? Fishers, lawyer, doctor, (correct me if I have misspoke)

Were these men looking for something new and different? Were they swayed? Were they convinced?

Why didn't he NAME women?

What are your thoughts?

This question came up in a recent discussion - just wondering ... what might your church do - "if funds were available" - and how much 'funds' would you need?   Anybody been giving this some thought?
