Pigs are flying in Owen Sound.
I have proof.
The first proof I have is a picture taken last August in Woodstock of the lead staff of six key organizations which strive to address poverty in this city. They are all sitting together. They are all smiling.
I know the photo wasn’t staged, because most of them told me that they liked the photo and were glad to see it.
I'm a little bored and a little lonely (Someguy's at work and Somekid is out playing).
So what is/was on the supper/dinner menu tonight?
I haven't had supper yet, it is still cooking. I'm having porkchops with home made coating, potatoes and peas. I also have a batch of home made granola bars cooling. I sure hope that they turn out, it is my first try.
Sometimes I can't believe the food that I used to think of as supper back when I was single and childless. Some examples: a bag of microwave popcorn, one or two bowls of cereal, a pie (it was a fruit pie), KD, and my absolute favorite Stove Top stuffing and a can of corn.
Come on now, I know that there are Wondercafers that have eaten or are eating things for supper that wouldn't pass muster being served to your parents. How about it? And if you don't do it anymore, do you miss it?
