Well, all of Saskatchewan had wild weather yesterday and last night. Wind, rain, tornadoes, hail and some at it all at once. The humidity was high and to day we are under Wind Warnings right across the province. Gusting to 90 K.
But what I want to tell you is that last night over Regina we had a rare event. I have tried to post pictures but cant get them to work.
We had a rarity . The clouds are called mammatus. Big balls of white formed right across the city. If someone can post I would appreciate it. Beautiful but totally scarey.
My facebook feed was full of news stories today. In Calgary, downtown was shut down and people were told to stay indoors, to stay away from windows and to keep as many walls between themselves and outside as possible. I saw pictures of downed trees that some narrowly escaped, and many pictures of damaged roofs. A firefighter I know is busy tonight
It didn't show up here thanks goodness! A few days ago it was quite windy, but nothing that forceful. Did anyone experience it? Is everyone ok?
I love the rythym of the Church Seasons - Advent;Christmas, Ephipany, Lent, 50 days of Easter, leading to Pentecost - the birth of the church.
At your church do you celebrate the day of Pentecost with Red, wind and fire?
Do lay people lead the service because many times this is Annual meeting weekend?
What are your favorite things about Pentecost?
