Although I know Aaron will likely have a more official posting here (somewhere), I'm a bit invested in these job postings; successful candidates will work with us here in Ministry and Employment. They're professional roles not related, particularly, with ministry, although that is no barrier (with the required skill qualifications met). Both are roles that have opened due to retirements:
Both can be viewed with all the application details and deadlines on: http://www.united-church.ca/getinvolved/jobs
Please note that the General Council Office is closed from December 24 until January 3. Work will continue first thing Tuesday, January 4!
We wish you all a safe and happy Christmas and New Year celebrations. May peace and joy fill your hearts at this glorious time of year.

None of us are perfect even if some of us think so.
If we are all imperfect, then how do we have the nerve to judge others - lifestyle, religion, politics, etc.
How do we know that someone's imperfections are worse than our own?
Why do we put ourselves in the seats of judgement?
A Sunday morning wondering.
Hi All,
I'll try to keep the initial post spoiler free.
Last summer I went and saw The Dark Knight and was treated to a trailer for a movie based on the comic series that changed the way Comic book companies present their heroes.
Last night I went, with my son, to see what Frank Miller would make of the story.
How far can you stray from the belief in Jesus as the son of God - or God in human form and still be a Christian?
