Hi folks
Those of you who are regular posters, know that I learn through story and questioning.
I'm wondering if those who have experience with anxiety disorders or just anxiety in general, would be willing to offer stories, tricks, insight.
I find my frustration is high as I have to increase my engagement with someone who has throughout their life struggled with anxiety. By learning through you, I am hoping that I may think of alternates to my approach.
I missed the Terry Fox experience the first time around.
In March, 1980, before Terry started running, I left for a six-month student exchange in México. I returned to Canada on September 5, 1980, four days after he stopped running. When I settled into my seat on my Air Canada return flight from Mexico City, the flight attendant handed me a complimentary copy of the Toronto Sun. The front page carried a picture of Terry Fox. I read his name and thought:
THIS IS PROBABLY NOT PROPER
BUT I RAN INTO THIS SHORT STORY BY iSSAC ASIMOV ITH I THOUGHT PECULIARLY APPROPRIATE...

FIVE WORTH-WHILE MINUTES OF YOUR TIME....
There are many things I like about parables but what I like the most is that the more we read them and the more the world situation changes, the parables offer a different perspective every time.
Now that is a simple question, are there alternatives ... vertigo images of Black and White Chaos ... entering the pure realm of Love and no reason or the opposing realm of pure thought and loosing all desire to hurt the traveling companion?
Wired, wye'd or weird!
What scares a strong person more: love or intelligence?
