Welcome!
As part of its Adult Faith Exploration programme, St. Andrew's Haney United Church (in Maple Ridge, BC) will be inviting people to participate in an 8-week exploration of discipleship, running from Sept. 28/09 to Nov. 23/09.
An invitation has been entended to the WonderCafe community to be a part of this exploration. The leaders at St. Andrew's will post the written material (and links to other material), that people in the face-to-face group will receive.
We're hoping to make some connections between the WonderCafe group and the face-to-face group, as we go along.
Welcome in!

(Note: Please don't worry if you don't see posts here until mid-September. I'm opening the group to make sure I get it set up correctly! - RichardBott)

Hi All,
Here's the scene.
Two folk from divergent faith traditions engage in the interpretation of the same specific scripture.
Both come up with similar interpretations of the text in question.
Here are the questions.
1) Can God and does God allow the meaning of God's word to be interetted faithfully and accurately by those who do not adhere to a specific faith practice?
