Okay, now I'm sure that there are many people out there who are celebrating the engagement of Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger. It's cute that they have a mingled nickname (Chavril), like other great celeb couples (e.g. Brangelina). But, dear God, even the Globe's now had two (maybe three) stories on this including a blog on "What other Canadian musicians should be a couple?". It merits one line in an entertainment news column, not multiple stories and an interactive blog.
Ape no like celebrity culture :(

I'm off on vacation today and one reason I'm looking forward to it is to get away from the inherent bickering of the workplace. I love my job and the people I work for and with, but there is an element, an element found in all environments that people congregate whether it be school, work or church, that manages to add an unnecessary stressor.
After a particularly stressful work week I stumbled upon the following article, I wish I had found it before. I think it may be of interest to people here....
i have this friend. this friend, her name is meghan, has a boyfriend. this boyfriend hates my guts and for reasons that i dont know. now would you stick with him if he began WW3 between him and your friends? i told meghan this and she just wont listen to me. I am a foster kid and i dont think it is right for him to facebook me and tell me off then tell me i dont know how to have real relationships. Then on top of that he claims to be a Christain. and everyone can see he isn't living as he should be. walk out in public with him..
