We are facing a very cold day here in Regina. But we do not have freezing rain, ice and snow. Is the Internet working for you and are you all okay?
Yesterday in Ottawa it reached 33 degrees.
Today it up to 30.
It seems it has been unseasonable warm all Spring.
How hot is it in your part of the country?
So where is everyone at right now, garden-wise? Planting out yet or still scraping the frost off the windshield and getting surprise snow? Doing any 'garden stuff' shopping?
I have WAAYYYY too many plants. I started a few extras for certain friends but they can't take them yet and I am overrun. The weather looks promising next week to get things ready for tomatoes and peppers and cucumbers. Many are residing at my Parents' in their greenhouse in Armstrong.
I appears that London (and, I assume, the rest of Southwestern Ontario) is getting a very nice bit of Indian Summer this weekend. Highs in the low to mid twenties, lows getting back above 10 after deeping into the low single digits a week ago. Last weekend, I fired up the furnace. This weekend, I'm opening all the windows. How's the long weekend weather elsewhere?

Well. abpenny sent an Alberta Clipper our way. we got our first 8cm of snow last night. more forecast for tonight and tomorrow. Penny. you should not a done that.
I see down East are getting their first snowfall too and the Clipper is moving into Southern Manitoba.
When does an Alberta Clipper stop being an Alberta Clipper as it heads East?
As I'm out and about on this mostly beautiful sunny day, I see people taking in their planters, bbqs and anything else that could blow away. My husband got two of the last loaves of bread at the grocery store last night. I'm hoping that the store still has some milk and eggs when I get there (they should because they are perishable). My rechargable batteries are recharging for my son's MP3 player because it has a radio. We have a hand pump flashlight, so we should be okay there, I'm not sure about candles. I should hunt down my emergency corded phone.
