Guess what/
Christianity in Canada isn't dying. Especially the Roman Catholic Church. Reg Bibby sugests that the Roman Catholic Church will grow and change.
So will all other denominations.
Canda is still a dominantly Chriustian country.
Immigration will positively affect the Roman Catholic Church and to a lesser extent, other churches.
We need not fear other faiths. They will increase, but not as anyone has been predicting.
The following debate took place just two weeks ago in London, as part of BBC's "intelligence Squared" series. This debate is airing on BBC World News channel in Canada. Look it up if you want to see it on TV instead.
a priest writes,
" I learned that the requirements of a true believer included Mass every Sunday and holy day of obligation, receiving the Eucharist, reconciliation once a year, giving money to the poor, observing Lent. Or in other words - just because you say you are Catholic, if you don't walk the walk you're not." Novel - Change of Heart - Jodi Picoult
It is an evil lie from the father of lies satan that there is no hell. The reason people fear the existance of a Holy God is because they know in their hearts " it is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgment." So like a man who fears he has a disease will deny the visit of a doctor so the atheist denies the visit of God. Hell is not a place of torture it is a place of torment( self-inflicted ) God did not create hell for man but for satan and his angels, man is free to follow him if he chooses.
