Self-punishment

If we had to punish ourselves

how would we do it ,and how will we execute it.

How long will you sentence yourself- for a sin or crime you committed.

What will the sentence be for hurting some ones feelings

Is Hell Eternal?

Here's an interesting take on the theme of Eternal Salvation/Eternal Damnation I came across. Hell IS eternal!" It must be because it guarantees human freedom and human choice. Without choice there is no love. God is Love - eternal Love. We must have the freedom to choose God but also to not choose God or else we're not doing so willingly and not out of Love! Hell guarantees our freedom. This line of thinking leaves the question... "does anyone spend eternity in Hell?" I guess theoretically, maybe.

With justice for all....

American punishment of soldiers who commit war crimes is really picking up.

A military court has just sentenced an American soldier who spent his tour of duty murdering civilians for sport, and then mutilating their bodies. He got 60 days hard labour. Boy. That'll teach him.

That's a lot tougher than they were with Calley in vietnam who led his men in a slaughter of hundreds of civilians. He spent three days in  jail.

Omar Khadr, who was at most a child soldier, got 40 years, reduced to 8 on a plea bargain after years of imprisonment and torture..
