"ADP" Spam Spam Spam Spam

Spread the word, people: there's Spam flying around the internet CLAIMING to be from ADP.

Danger Danger: Do Not Open!! Delete Delete!!

ADP will NEVER email a treasurer, or minister, or anyone about their personal account, business or pastoral charge account: Delete the Spam. Much like the now (hopefully easily recognized) Nigerian prince scam, this method uses a Very well used service provider (1/5 people in North America have a human resource related service, either payroll or other service, from ADP)

If you aren't sure, then CALL ADP: 1-877-377-4784.

Please Share: Spam (not) from UCCan service providers

Please Share this with anyone/everyone: The United Church's service providers will NEVER email you (unless you are actually expecting them to; that's a different story). Currently, email using ADP's name is being circulated around Canada: THIS IS SPAM. DELETE IT: do not click any links in this email.

If you aren't sure, by all means CALL ADP, or your bank, insurance company or other company.

Ads on WonderCafe

FYI - checkout the ads on the left hand side - starts off with something from the Observer- then changes advertises something adbou13 calendar then changes to “Top Related Topics”, then if you hover over the pin on the top it talks about Replace ads with gadgets!

Don’t think this is supposed to be there…..doesn’t happen on every pages, discussion – church – will make it happen every time.

Spam

I have a question for all you computer geeks.  I recieved a message (in my email, nothing WC related) that looks like spam, but it's possible it's a legit message.  The odd thing is that my email address was not used for the message.  I suppose someone could have set up a forwarding address with my email but the odd thing is that the recipient email is one based out of the university I am at (and was sent to my hotmail account, not my university one).

Is this a new type of spam, or just an odd coincidence?

Wondermail from Miss.jenna

Did anyone else receive a Wondermail from Miss.jenna?

Apparently she is fascinated by my profile and wishes to connect.  She wants me to email her so she can send photos and we can get to know each other - love is in the air.

According to her profile, she is under 18.   I guess I should be flattered that this sweet young thing is taking an interest in an old lady like me.

New sport

I've discovered the new sport of spam watching.  The threads have been filling up with spam, sadly pushing newer topics down the pages.  Oh, well, somthing to keep me out of trouble while I wait for my Sims patch to upload.

The Priests

I know I posted this exact same thing in pop culture, and I must be acting like a total spammer right now, but I really couldn't decide which forum this belongs in, and a lot of you Religion and Faith people just HAVE to see this and you might not all frequent the pop culture section that much (I sure don't).
