Hi everyone!
I need some networking help. I am a Secular Humanist (raised Catholic) and my fiance is Jewish. We both live in Ottawa, but plan to get married in Nova Scotia (near my family). Our families have been really loving and awesome with our interfaith relationship, and everyone is ok with our upcoming marriage.

Just sharing from Twitter, but I do enjoy the Freakonomics Blog.
The United Church of Canada and the country's largest Jewish group will meet next week to try to salvage a relationship marked by nearly a year of unprecedented tension, the National Post has learned.
Hi all,
I just got back from the Sunday service at the local UU congregation. I really get a lot out of the services, and it's sorta a highligh to my week, even though I've only been going since May.
I need some advice. I'm in an interfaith relationship. My boyfriend of 2 years is Jewish, and comes from a really open minded and tolerant family. He's parents really adore me, even though I know his mom wishes I was Jewish. His mother's brother is an Orthodox Rabbi, and isn't as open minded. I haven't met him yet, but I will this Friday, when he comes to town for the Friday night Shabbat dinner at my boyfriend's grandmother's hosue.
ABOUT THE NATURE AND FUNCTION OF PRAYING AND MEDITATING
=======================
What are some of the questions we have on our minds, and need to be asking about, meditating and praying?
I will begin by asking: Do you think there is a difference between praying and meditating?
I know that Easter and Passover have alot in common because Jesus was a Jew and his Last Supper occurred during Passover. I know that those origins explain a lot of the similarities.
But can anyone explain this similarity to me? Why are Passover Seder Dishes so similar looking to Easter Egg plates? I'm really curious and can't figure it out.
