On Monday, November 21, I offered the first session of Bad Girls of the Bible, an occasional Bible Study that will look at a different woman each time. This time, we focused on Eve, the first woman. I obviously can't share the Bible study with you here as it was wonderfully interactive with rich conversation. But I thought that I would write something up based on the notes I used to guide the discussion.

Lower and middle income seniors in care in BC are having their rates increased in public-funded spaces. (click bolded for CBC story) As if the situation isn't bad enough with our provinces having the fewest number of these spaces available, per capita, in the country, the BC Liberal government is going to raise the rates for seniors in care by between $120 - $160 or so per month for seniors whose annual income is $22,000 per year and up.

My friend just found out that her ex has been withholding information about his annual income, despite a court order requiring his full disclosure. Based on the difference between what he was telling her his income was and what it actually is since she forced disclosure through the court, she figures he owes her (their child, really) approximately $15,000 from the past 3 years.

The wife's recent surgery was a reductive mammaplasty, a breast reduction. Her oversized breasts had plagued her with health problems for decades. The problems included neck and back pain, skeletal problems and serious skin irritations, all of which we were aware of and have required medical care for years.
