Going back to an ex when you both learned what happened

Hey everyone, greetings from Thailand ... Have a question for you all!

Just got out of a 3 year relationship 3 months ago and we both like each other a lot but there was some issues in our past relationship that made us break up. Now since we have graduated and travelled we both have matured and figured out what we did wrong.

Knowing that i figured out what happened and still love him deeply should i go back to him and pursue our life? Or just let him go?

Cheers

:)

Interesting bit of scholarship but ...

... does it really mean anything for the bigger picture? I mean other than perhaps being able to justify a fixed date for Easter in place of the current floater.

Christian dating an Agnostic

I'm looking for some advice from practicing Christians.

I'm a Christian, and come from a very strict Christian home. I've been dating someone outside my faith secretly for 2 months, because my family and church are openly against interfaith relationships.

My personal belief on this is that my boyfriend's morals and beliefs are similar to mine, but he has not attended a church since he was young and is not saved. But our beliefs are similar enough that the practical issues of inter-faith relationships are not really an issue.

Wondercafe Cafe for the Single and UnPartnered

alivetoday's "Valentine's Day (aka:  singles awareness day)" thread made me wonder if there are enough of us unpartnered here on the 'cafe to have a thread of our own to share our thoughts and to know we're not alone in a sea of couples.

It's not my intention at all to create a matchmaking thread, but simply a place to talk about our experiences and hopes for ourselves.

To begin with a few questions, I guess an obvious one is 'Are you looking or content for now"?

Girls night out turns into a depressing crying fest.

Last night was a big disapointment. Its sad to see how easily my friends minds can get taken over by guys. For all my life i've had guys go in and out of my life very quickly. There was endless boy drama whether i liked it or not. After i ended things with a guy i told myself that I was done with them because with almost every guy there is always an identicle outcome. I talk to a guy for a couple days, weeks, or months and in the end its either one of us loses interest, or the guy becomes a complete jerk.

S&M jokes on the first date

So I went out with a guy last night.  It was our first date.  We enjoyed ourselves.  The conversation was lighthearted.  I was teasing him a little about being old because neither of us got ided for drinks.  He was teasing back.  Then I pretended to get mad and said "now is the time where you are supposed to tell me that I don't look a day over seventeen"  Then he fake apologized and said that he was bad and I have to spank him.
